this guy. i aspire to reach his level. crisp, clean and swagging. i hate the word “swag,” however this guy just keeps on killing it. HE’S EVEN WEARING LOAFER SOCKS (i think… i see something peeping out there)! clean like a whistle, fresh and swagging.

what item in your wardrobe, closet, chest of drawers et cetera would you consider your must have item?

i am curious to know what some people find in terms of their apparel, jewelry or whatever, that is most important to them. i know for me it’s my silver and gold bracelet my mom had gotten made for me, that has inscribed in it, “to chaz from mom dec 2011.” why? well it was made from her own personal stash of jewelry that she had molten and made into a bracelet. the craftsmanship of it is flawless and the sentimental value is priceless. it makes me feel closer to her though she’s far away, and i NEVER take it off. before i used to wear this gold citizen watch she gave me, but that was put into retirement. 

so i saw these shorts and i said to myself, “yo, why do these look so familiar?” ding ding ding, a bell goes off in my head. it all makes sense! i had designed something reminiscent of this for my sister sometime ago, although we had not gone to our tailor to have it made. i mean it’s not identical but the waist of it is and pleating is prettying similar. makes me wonder if i could actually go full throttle in this fashion game.

this. is. adorb.  one thing i enjoy more than a well dressed individual, is a well dressed couple. it just speaks magnitudes about their synchronicity. what’s more amusing is that both have elements i like in women’s and mens fashion. the young miss: her mini but tasteful high-waisted, that has tucked into into a print blouse and cinched at the waist with a thin belt. i adore when women have a vintage appeal… of course i’m a old soul so it’s understandable. also, her bow tie in her hair… i’m obsessed with bow ties so it’s needless to say i love that detail. the gentleman: the cuffed blue shorts are a plus plus plus. i cuff my shorts all the time these days. what’s more important is that his shirt is tucked in. for some reason a lot of young fellows around my age have an aversion to tucking in their shirts, so this is appreciated. of course, again, the bow tie.  for them both, i enjoy that they have gold jewelry. gold is the way to go! the large sunglasses… you can never go wrong with these.  i like these two, and i crave this.

rugged (looking) shoes. i have an odd curiosity with these. i think they give character. where you’ve been and where you’re going so to speak… perhaps. i have a pair of brown bostonian oxfords that i absolutely refuse to polish. however, that doesn’t mean i neglect them. ever so often they get a little leather cleaner/lotion. i take care of my babies. the fadings and spottings on it though i find are oddly artistic.. PS these are bedstu brand of shoes

i have an obsession with the black and grey louis vuitton checker. i think i came to love it when i was on a quest for a messenger and came across lv’s checkered messenger. i loved it. unfortunately… living on a college students budget does not allow for such luxuries. PS i ended up getting a kenneth cole black messenger which i love just as much.

boat shoes, boat shoes, boat shoes! though i doubt i will ever be wearing these ever again, since i have come to prefer espadrille slip ons, i do still like them very much. at least i like the appeal of them. my foot just doesn’t slip in as easily as i would like it to, plus they aren’t porous so my feet tends to sweat (yuck).  who knows… i may be unfaithful to my espadrille lover, and have a rekindled fling with my ex, the boat shoe.
